About us!

We are the Bailey family!

We're a family of 4 humans and 56 animals(and that number is always changing)! No, you didn't read that incorrectly, I promise there are 56 animals in our small backyard farm...yes I said small!

I go by many names: Mama, Boss, Head Farmer, Crazy chicken lady, teacher, Disney addict, Harry Potter fan, clothing lady, kids taxi driver and the list goes on. I'm a stay at home, work at home mom to two loving, wacky, active, sometimes make ya wanna scream, kiddos. Our Son is 8, almost 9 and goes by Bugs. Our daughter is 7 and goes by Twinkle. I'm also the owner and designer at Twinkle and Bugs Couture Boutique, I make custom children's clothing. I have an etsy shop for the clothing business, and an etsy shop for crafts supplies called RibbonsFeltiesandFun where I offer ribbon, felties, applique patches and soon other items for craft projects!

My husband works at a local plant that manufactures pulp fluff and paper. He goes by BeatleDad. He's my handyman, construction worker, farming assistant and household clown. He's always got a project going on.

Twinkle and Bugs are homeschooled and that in itself is an adventure all on it's on. Twinkle auditioned and made the competitive dance teams at the dance studio she attends and Bugs started Minor league baseball this year! These are some busy little people!

Now for the 56 animals....in our small backyard farm lol!

We currently own:

Ducks: Pekin, Black Runner, Khaki Campbell, and Muscovy

Chickens: English Blue Orpingtons, Buff Orpingtons, Polish Crested, Olive Egger, Easter Egger, Red Rangers, Barred Rocks, Golden Comets, Silkies

Rabbits: Holland Lops, Meat

Goats: Nigerian Dwarf

Each animal is dearly loved by my family and gets lots of attention.

We are also huge fans of Walt Disney World and love to travel there. We've been twice and our third trip is coming up soon! We're always looking for ways to get to our favorite place for less money and any tips that work for us will be posted about on this blog!
